So, here it is; 613 miles down the West coast of the United States of America, San Francisco to San Diego. I am SO excited!

I thought it would be a good idea to share the routes of my trip next week with all the lovely people who’ve sponsored me so far. Doing this did, however, bring into perspective the stark reality of what I’ve actually signed up for. I always knew that it would be a challenge to cycle down half of the West coast of the U.S.A, but because I’ve never been to America before, the sheer scale of the country, let alone the route, was never really put into perspective.

You can keep up to date with my trip through my daily blog posts here.
f you haven’t sponsored me yet you should still be able to here. (Thankyou!)

Here are each of the days start & finish points, distance, and height climbed:

Day 1: San Francisco to Watsonville – 96 miles / 5,783 feet.
Day 2: Watsonville to The Big Sur – 59 miles / 3,592 feet.
Day 3: The Big Sur to Pismo Beach – 115 miles / 8,207 feet.
Day 4: Pismo Beach to Santa Barbara – 103 miles / 5,320 feet.
Day 5: Santa Barbara to Santa Monica – 103 miles / 4,996 feet.
Day 6: Santa Monica to Laguna Beach – 75 miles / 2,568 feet.
Day 7: Laguna Beach to La Jolla – 62 miles / 2,837 feet.

Once again, your support is invaluable and I appreciate all of the best wishes, sponsorships & kind words so far.
